Rebecca obtained her BA (Hons) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University and began her career in HR whilst working in the Private Healthcare Sector. It was during this time she went on to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at Manchester Metropolitan Business School and developed a very keen interest in employment law.
Rebecca has been an Employment Law Consultant for almost 9 years and during that time she has advised on a wide range of employment topics including TUPE, multiple redundancies, gross misconduct, complex grievances and discrimination.
Rebecca enjoys working with clients across all sectors but specialises in the Education sector, having extensive knowledge of OFSTED and safeguarding requirements. Rebecca has worked with pre-schools, primary, secondary (across all school types), FE colleges and Universities.
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys creative writing, listening to music and getting on her political soapbox.
